These values shape our family’s lifestyle, and our farm. We center ecological stewardship and care for living creatures great and small when making farm decisions. We understand that our world is abundant and kind, and with knowledge, work, and care, we can meet our needs while cultivating healthy, diverse ecosystems. Our farm combines traditional diversified homesteading practices—such as a home orchard and flock of hens— with native plant agriculture through a permaculture design lens. We forage, grow, hunt, fish, and raise large portions of our family’s food, and we hope to share the skills that allow us to do this with every family in our community.
